Frequency can not be stored
because in AC there is continuous change of polarity which is not possible in real life with static storage.
bcz Ac runs w.r.t hence it cant be stored.
Because batteries are direct current (DC) power source having fixed negative and positive terminal which cannot be change. To store power in it we have to pass a direct current in reverse direction. While AC current changes its direction every time. so in it half cycle it will store power in it but in remaining half cycle it will drain the battery and cause of short circuit with two sources in series.
We cannot store AC in batteries because AC changes their polarity up to50 (When frequency =50 Hz) or60 (When frequency =60 Hz) times in a second. Therefore the battery terminals keep changing Positive (+ve) becomes Negative (-Ve) and vice versa, but the battery cannot change their terminals with the same speed so that’s why we can’t store AC in Batteries.
AC voltage is always generated from magnetic induction of generators otherwise it can be produced electronically through an Inverter from a DC supply like batteries.
For storing something it's very important that each additional unit Increases the total units of that thing, that's why in this case it is very important to use DC against AC, because in DC the polarity remains same/constant or defined that's why we use DC for storage against AC.
