What do you think of loyalty programs? Are these programs successful and do they ensure customer loyalty?

Loyalty programmes are very crafty, you have to be very careful about how you design them, there is a very thin line between giving your customers a feeling of entrapment and encouraging them to make repeat purchases.
What is for certain is that before even thinking about a loyalty programme you need to make sure that your product is worth a repeat purchase, think about loyalty programmes that you joined and continued loyally and also think about the ones you joined and never used, what is the difference? Answer: Loyalty programmes do not cause repeat purchases by themselves they only work in case of products or services that already have a high chance of a repeat purchase because of their quality.

Loyalty programs are a great way to keep a database of your loyal customers and reward them.
Make sure that your program is appealing to your customers without it being too sales-directed.
The main focus should be on your clients and thanking them for putting their trust in you.

not really cause with time customs will get bored as usual and look fora change within your company's competitor, if they found even an equal program  they will never say goodbye,

so companies need to know that loyalty programs are a marketing and have a life span hence they should gain their assigned previously targets and come-up with new loyalty programs , to keep up the illusion of customer care family
