What KPI 's do you think are suitable for a construction company to periodically measure its project performance ?

I believe that for a construction industry the most important performance indicators are bit different from other industries.  Like every other industry the economic performance (efficiency of resources), objective performance (effectiveness of work accomplished) and expected performance (interests of the stakeholders) are more or less same but for construction projects the geological performance (effect of the project on the environment and of the environment on the project) plays a critical role in its performance measurement.
