Autodesk Revit is very powerful software it self in BIM Industry with detailed features and lot of verities i.e. Revit architecture, Structure, MEP, Naviswork etc. but AutoCAD has a differnt importance in the Engineering field for Mechanical, Civil, Architecture, Structure, and etc so Its depends on the field or industry where you are performing job.
The second thing is after learning revit if learning AutoCAD, its a plus point for getting an opportunity and enhancing the skill as well.
