Thanks for your reply. The crux of my question lies in that very fact, that oil and gas are limited non-renewable resources. Also, consider the fact that global oil prices are declining and people are becoming more environmentally conscious. Offshore wind farms could provide sizeable energy benefits, given the lack of buildings or mountains over the sea wind speeds are considerably higher than on land.
