Do you think using chants in teaching young learners fruitful?

I ALWAYS BELIEVE IN SUCH METHOD TO LEARN THROUGH CHANTING.

It depends on how you prepare your class using chants. What are you aiming at when you make your pupils repeat those chants? I believe that this should be the main question.

Other than that, it is important to perceive if that specific group of students is going to react well towards chanting. It may work for one group and not for the next one.

The important thing is to keep an open mind as a teacher and to identify what things motivate more your students. 

chants are very useful in the primary stage as they encourage students to be engaged in the learning process.
