What would you suggest for the U.A.E. Organisation Comittee ?
and what would be your personal expectations for the success ?
My suggestion to UAE Organization Committee:
There has to two different segments: -
1. Development / Training of Existing Business / Industries
This is important for the business to develop peoples skills at par to world class manufacturing system. Let them understand how is the market scenario and how one's multi skills can help organization in terms of quality and productivity improvement.
It also required proper guidance, performance reviews, analyze and corrective actions time to time. And this must be mandatory.
Being a Training Manager in Middle East, I realized that this is very important for the business growth.
2. Development of School / College students
There are advance tools invented to identify the interest of the child. If such tools are adopted then it is very easy for them to success in the life with proper interest in the subjects.
Parents are very ambitious about their children and always dreaming that children should be Chartered Accountant, Doctor or Engineer. But it may possible that they have an other interest and there will be a great success with satisfactions.
Developments doesn't mean only academic. It must be moral with personality and for the next generation of the country and being the leader of the world.
Everyone appears to be focusing on the participants in this upcoming event and forgetting the most important reason to support this type of event in the Middle East. What I am talking about are all the young boys and girls who will attend this event. This type of events expose young minds to careers that stretch their dreams to want something more and possibly create something better. As technology continues to improve children of today are learning things that were never imagined or were science fiction when I was young. Events such as this exposes young minds to new career possibilities inline with their interest. Children can not discover their potential if we do not expose them to the possibilities.. Once exposed the interest grows and their dreams become the next step in the reality of a better world for all of us. A long time ago someone said, "Children are our future" what they failed to say is we are responsible for providing opportunities to discover, dream, and reach for their dreams.
Each of the72 WorldSkills Member countries and regions will select their best talent to compete in their chosen skills at WorldSkills Abu Dhabi2017. Competitions in50 skills ranging from carpentry to mobile robotics and floristry to aircraft maintenance, over1,000 Competitors from all around the world and tens of thousands of visitors - WorldSkills Abu Dhabi2017 will be a global showcase of skills not to be missed.
In addition to the Competition, there will be the opportunity to exchange information and best practices on professional education among leaders in industry, government and education. New ideas and processes will inspire young people to dedicate themselves to technical and technological careers and towards to a better future.
