Mr, Shan
Each software has some credibility to perform the similar activities but its depends on the user and as per the requirement of field where you are performing the work, and most of the time the use of software is switching according to work requirement.
supposed i learned the AutoCAd and started job in Architecture field using autocad, after some period i switch the job and i start the work in Mechanical field so i need to work with Solid works and CITIA then the passage of time i switch the job again and now i started the work with Micro-station, and Revit MEP and .............
So you can not Focus with one the best software, its can be change work to work or Field to Field but each software is best software.
hi...
it depends on what is your task.
Simple drawing and skecth can use AutoCAD
Complex one can use CATIA or Solidworks.
3D modelling can use CATIA for as assembly part.
For interior or exterior design Sketchup may be better, for realistic quality design, then3DsMax is better tool, for advance Architecture design, the Autodesk AutoCad is better,
I am only familiar with AutoCAD and ACAD Revit and it suits what I need
Hi,
"The best" for what ? It depends of what you are doing : for example, you can draw plans on SketchUp but it's much easier to do it on AutoCAD. And you can do3D houses on AutoCAD, but it's much easier to do it on SketchUp.
Autocad is the best software for Prepaing maps.
It depends on the CAD system you been working first ... I like Mircrostation better than AutoCAD;
I prefer SolidWorks over CATIA (all through I been told are made by Desoto)..
I have been working in GIS, architectural, Machinery, civil & structural engineering, and Industrial with Microstation...
SolidWorks and CATIA designing machinery .... preference is SolidWorks, since it easier ...
It is an opinion or each person which has worked with one or the other program... if you can not make AutoCad work for your current project ...you may not make an other work to you
I Think Revit is good but as a Mechanical Engineer i will go with Solidworks
To me, the best CAD software is Solidworks .Very easy to use
I am only familiar with REVIT & Navisworks
I will prefer CATIA and ProE.
