I provide voluntary services to an NGO (working for kids) as a cook. Does it make any impression on employers if I include it in my experience?

I would definitely agree with most of the answers.
It’s always good to mention involvement in voluntary/ charity services and/or CSR related activities on your CV.
This gives the employer additional insight about you.

Dear Mohammad, Yes you do include it in your CV and you may actually high light it.
It shall show you in good light.
your giving nature is what recruiters look for not just whether a person is doing his defined job, but if you will exceed their expectations.
One who volunteers is always preferred over others if all the other traits remain the same! I am also reminded of the fact that, to be with children, a grown up has to become one to gain their trust.
children are curious, honest, and open and without any malice and no hatred unlike grown ups.
Therefore, i believe you possess these good qualities and it should help you and shall not be a negative at all if you mention it as part of your experience.

Yes, now a days every company tries to fulfill there social responsibilities.
If you are volunteering for any social event definitely you must show this as an experience.
That will give a good impression of yours to an employer.

Any experience as a paid worker or a volunteer should be mentioned in your profile, it is experience isn't it.
Also it is a good deed from you side that you volunteered for a cause and some employers appreciate it.

It is actually a double sided knife, cause some of the employers might find it irrelevant and some might find it very useful.
A cook is aperson that uses multi tasking with time management as well as leadership, and teambuilding techniques.
And if i am to choose a team member in any fiels i would take this into consideration.
for instance i worked as a waitress, as a hostess as a chef, and i have learned a lot of skills from these experiences, but i never put them on my cv because i had alot of comments from professionals that this is irrelevant as an architect.
therefore it could be a good idea to put it in the interests.

this can be a nice hobby but as for as working with NGOs is concerned, i dont suggest including this information as experience with an NGO. However, it is great if you include it in your hobbies but not as an experience.
