Externally, customers will loose trust in the sales person, as they will notice that his major concern is selling and achieving more sales results rather than serving them and looking for their problems and needs.
Internally, it will increase unfair competition, jealousy, careerism and selfishness.
Besides, greedy attitude will encourage someone to concentrate on achievements rather than methods. So it will be easy to choose illegal, unethical and spurious methods to get these achievements.
Greed make people tough and look nervous. No use of it neither for salesperson nor for anybody else.
