in other words: when defining KPIs to measure contractors' quality performance, which one would you give the highest weight?
1. Compliance to the requirements as defined by client.
2. On time delivery.
Hi,
I would look closely at the following:
a.liquidity, although it is rather difficult for contractors at times to forecast cash flow. This can be rather awkward to “assess” if the contractor is “in-house” i.e. Local Authorities BMDs. When looking at the financial kpis, important to note the utilised percentage of their contingency.
b.customers / clients satisfaction
c. Schedule variance indicator including average time it took them to close out / rectify defects.
d. Work-in-process reporting including committed costs and related variances.
e. outstanding or backlog indicator
f. contractors score indicator.
g. quality / Safety indicators .
regards,
Tariq

most important KPIs for evaluating contractors quality performance
1. Less no of NCRs / quality observations during audits and quality survelience
I would consider the relevant KPI for any Contractor' Quality Performance;
1.Attention to details,
2.General Work safety Standards,
3. Promptness to Timeline/Schedules.
The quality of work, performance in terms of respecting timelines and boundaries of scope of work.
Standard of submitting an action plan and a comprehensive procedure guide for risk assessment, policies, procedures and management standards
The KPI is calculated by dividing your total sales for a period by your average accounts receivable for that period. This number can serve as an alert that corrections need to be made in managing receivables, in order to bring payment collections within appropriate timeframes
