I would say because:

- the founder is not free to do it himself; and he can't afford hiring someone professional to do it.

- personally; i don't like automation; but its better than nothing if the founder need to focus on building the core business.

Thanks for your invite. The globalisation has made dynamics of any business very fast. At these time automation for any size of enterprise is very much useful as it helps in planning their marketing efforts and performance in a structured manner.

SMEs really need automation as they cannot hire big teams and have utilise their resources/management time to maximum. The cost can sometimes be prohibitive but there will surely be lots of cheaper options. It is imperative that small organisations automate as much as possible to free up people to concentrate on building the company.

A small business needs to scale up fast in terms of business goals. Using a marketing automation software saves time, increases the number of leads and widens the pipeline of potential deals at a much faster pace than just by human interactions such as cold calling.

Hi all,

Marhaba!

Small or big business - the critical question is to consider ROMI, no that is not a nice gal ;-), it's Return on Marketing Investment. So if the benefits are more than cost, go for it.

Benefits should include (an indicative list only)

1. Should increase productivity and revenue. Ask those chaps selling it for ideas on payback period.

2. Info capture format should be businesslike, readable, no redundancies, should check frauds and falsehoods, few sales chaps are so prone to!

3. Should make life less dreary for sales / marketing reps

4. Should have elements of CRM (Customer Relationship Mgt), Services and satisfaction and possibly should raise an alert for quitters and brand switchers, should identify bargain hunters etc.

5. Should have mechanisms to capture scenarios (current and future) going other than predicted, so plan B's are must to be inbuilt in the code and programs.

Hope it helps.
