Thanks @Dina Al Khitab for indication:

Choosing type of font is totally dependent upon the use. By use I mean whether you need font type for resume writing or CV writing. Both have little difference resume should not be more then2 pages and Cv should be more then2 pages and it has no limitations can reach to100 pages. It also depends whether you need font type for print resume or electronic use.

Font type will be change if you are writing Resume. As you have2 pages limitations and you want to enter as much information as you can. You will need a font type which looks good and bigger in same font size. Such as Cambria and Calibri font.

I personally use Calibri font for resume writing, its Microsoft Word Default font type as well. Default font of Ms Word gives you an idea that most of recruiters or employers will be familiar with it.

No matter which font family you choose, your resume typeface should be easy on the eyes and show up well both in print and on a screen, regardless of size or formatting. It's also a good idea to choose a standard, universal font that works on any computer's operating system, as your resume will also likely be scanned by automated applicant tracking software.

According to resume and career expert

Calibri. As the default Microsoft Word font, Calibri is an excellent option for a safe, universally readable font. Professional resume writer Donna Svei is a strong advocate of Calibri for resume, noting on her blog AvidCareerist that this font is familiar to most readers and renders well on computer screens. Svei also noted that12-point Calibri produces a "perfectly sized" two-page résumé of550 to750 words.

Arial11 for long CVs (more than2 pages). Arial12 for a short CV.  The simpler the font the less chance of formatting issues when employers try to download the CV.

Hi Dina,

The most common font to use is Times New Roman, size12.

I think it's best to try a few fonts that you like and see what looks best.  Most people read your c.v. now on a computer, as opposed to on paper.  On paper we always said to use a serifed font, like Times New Roman, but on a computer normally it's recommended to use a sans-serif font, like Verdana or another sans-serif font.  Bayt's font is san-serif.  I recently changed from Times New Roman, it just looked dated and old, to headings in Calabri, text in Garamond, but I might change again.

Hi,

As long as the alphabets are legible, any font should be good. You can use Arial or Calibri.

It's up to you, provided that it looks professional. The font size should be12.

I usually use Verdana or Times New Roman in almost all of my writing stuff.

In my opinion, simple fonts will be better than decorated one .
