i do not really agree, why? because imagine a fresh graduate,he or she has no experience but has necessary qualification, what should he do then.....?????
I totally agree. You can go out there and buy a degree but you can never buy experience. In generations past there weren't universities, everything was learnt through apprenticeship, which the car and fishery industries still use today. Education teaches you why, experience teaches you how to.

I will say both complements each other. Actually its the context which makes either of the one important.
I agree with the fact that the practical knowledge can not come through the academic knowledge. You can only predict the heat by sitting on your table, but you can't feel the intensity of the same. You have to make decisions every now and then, and better your experience, better your decision.
However that does not mean that academic knowledge or qualification are of no worth. Actually your qualification provide you a broader skill set that supports your decision and fine tunes it. You can always give a logic when you have a good qualification.
So which is more important is difficult to say. Its depend on the business of the organization, life stage of the organization, its policy, sometimes external factors and many others.

Jabar

According to me for any organization moving towards drastic improvement and applying tools for growth and sustaining the profitabilty experience is key factor for any employee to be hired although educaton compliment it too but the most beneficial requirment is Experience + education then.

Work experience is the Core factor overtaking the educational experience. MNC carries the Hard core experienced team for the growth of the Company in a profit maner rather then the Educational team. Experienced team moves to the Ground to make the things happen instead of sitting idle in the chair and bosting the irrelevant conversations for the company growth

In my opinion, its a mistake to generalize and judge whether experience or qualification is more important than the other. It depends on the job and its requirements as well as the employer and his view and needs. Some jobs need fresh graduates who the company is willing to invest in and train since the role and scope of work are related to the company individuality and certain programs that are not generally gained through education or experience in other companies or fields. On on the other hand, some jobs and work need background educational knowledge which can be acquired from certain educational entities. While other jobs need experience specially when its depending on certainroutine of work and so on. Therefore, the answer according to my humble view, completely depends on the quality and type of job as well as employer requirements.

Work experience is better than say educational experience. You cannot know something fully until you do it one on one... you pretty much only know the basics going into anything that you are trained for... there is usually low levels of practiced skill... but experience is counted more highly during the application process.
I agree with it. In korea, many company emphasis on certificate and prestigious university's degree not long ago but, lately, there are a lot of trendy changes. Companies are increasing jobs for people with experiences.
