This is a classical example of AUTOCRATIC style of leadership.................... though it has few advantages (Quick decision making and Effective control etc.) but this is grossly unpopular among sub-ordinates due to a large number of disadvantages e.g, Lack of motivation, Lack of delegation of authority and lack of creativity and above all, Wrong decisions......................
They need to be patient.............. Do their job and discuss the outcomes of decision to their manager and senior management.
There are two ways of looking at it
1. Is there any personal means linked to his personal.
2. Is there any scope for organisational betterment..
If it is for the betterment of organisation one should go ahead or if it is related to manager then diplomatically we can handle it with out hurting his sentiments either.
Always do your tasks, try to break the ice and finaly report him to the upper management. Thank You.
Be loyal and follow that instruction, once complete speak to them one to one and address your issue.
First you should convey your discomfort so monkey successfully leaps from the back of you to the back of his . to make sure the manager does not miss this point, will later stick his head in the manager’s office and cheerily query,
That ll make manager more responsible for any outcome or low productivity. But practically that is part of professional life and if you managed to find a win win situation that ll be highlights of your career.
Propose to your manager a brainstorming session with the team to talk on how things could be improved for the interest of the company. Each member should come up with at least one idea or subject of discussion. During this session try to sell your ideas to your manager.

It is important to first accept the manager's decision and then find an appropriate time to voice your concerns to him/her. You should also be clear that you are just stating your concerns and it does not interfere with you carrying his/her decisions.
