The Sales Steps are:
1. Prospecting Stage: This is the first step in a sales process. We need to determine the target industry/market/demograhic/decision maker etc. And also need to create a plan on how to target them in terms of lead generation which can be done via - cold calling, inbound calls, advertising etc.
2. Qualifying Stage: We need to qualify the lead by reaching out to the decision maker, understanding their need, budget discussion and their timeline to get the solution
3. Initial meeting: We meet the client and build a relationship by becoming an expert in the business domain, creating strong presentation
4. Needs Analysis:Probing is the key skill required here. Probe for their need, target segment, audience etc
5. Product/Service Demonstration: provide Experiential learning to the client
6. Proposal/Quotation Presentation: Use the Challenge, Features, Benefits, Improvement (CFBI) model to create a strong proposal. And incorporate the following details while creating a proposal - Objectives, the key deliverables and benefits, the mode of payment, the costs and the schedule. Also, include the positive experiences of your other clients
7. Influencer Approval: Be open to feedback and make the necessary changes
8. Key decision maker approval: Objection handling skills are vital
9. Closing Sales: Get the payment, deliver the product as per the agreed timeline
. Follow-up: Post Sales, follow up is important to understand if any issues or challenges faced by the client and resolve the the same
