Nowadays thru' Google or global procurement.com which is in fact helping us to identify the right product in a right price and from where we can get it.  For example - photo copy paper means - we can import from Thailand in a cheaper price.  Hence, nowadays procuring from the SOURCE DIRECTLY is becoming a slogan.  But, everything is subject to volume.  Volume speaks much and if you have volume you can convince the vendor and get better pricing..
