How important are soft skills in the IT field?

Soft Skill is very important and it is very much needed now, IT field act as service industry where we need to interact to different type of people for example as a end user of IT, Business partners and their requirement and specially their reactions, to deal with such reactions IT field must have soft skill. In my opinion we need soft skill (EQ) every where, where we need to interact with people, society, challenges etc.

IT Soft skills are as important as Technical Skills. Ones technical knowledge will help in arriving at solutions. And soft skills will help in optimizing those solutions.

Soft Skills is essential for any working professional whether if he was working in the IT Field or any other field, it helps you communicate more effectively with business stakeholders as well as express your ideas and opinions in an effective way, my advise work on your soft skills no matter what is your seniority level and no matter is your field.

Soft skills are very important in IT. A lot of people ignore them, don't study and don't apply themselves to make progress in that area and then they wonder why they don't advance in the company.In my opinion you can't be a good developer without well developed soft skills. Developers need to work well with other people in agile teams, they need to know how to properly sell their ideas and sell themselves if they are looking for work.I suggest you spend50% of your study time reading technical books and the other50% reading about soft skills - and try to apply them on a daily basis. It's a shortcut to great things in life!

The soft skill in IT field is very important and must have something special qualities above than IT field workers. He must proof sound application to software, zero error, perfect knowledge, increase memory, updated development, less talkative, unique friend circle.

it's based on your role in the IT business, but in general communication skills , analytical thinking , planing , logistic thinking ..., all of it are important skills , so firstly you have to define your role , then draw you map of soft skills.

Most of IT Engineers, devlopers or even sales spent 75% of thier life infront of monitors where the stress goes to maximum level and too much pain in thier head...
