As a graphic designer, do you prefer working in your home country or abroad?

As a graphic designer, it is really important to know the design taste of the client and know their design market. For example, In an Arab nation, its always better to have centre alignment or left hand alignment for the text in the design. After all, the reach of design to the mass does matter.

I prefer working abroad because working abroad is like a competition you can meet competitive creatives from different races around the world how much if can make a teamwork and that will be the best. but also you can find your limits to most of the creatives, you can gain exposure, confidence, experiences and other skills that never been before. aside from that; well high salaries, less expenses on daily needs and no deductions on my salaries like tax, that's why I'm here in Jeddah.. thanks for the question..:-)

I prefer working abroad for several reason's myself, one of the biggest advantages are learning different peoples approaches and their background work ethics with that - pushing you to keep challenging yourself.  I've been traveling a lot its amazing to meet newer visions

Most definitely look forward to another opportunity abroad..

As a graphic designer, i prefer to work abroad, so that i've gained more knowledge in additional softwares,understand the customer expectations and needs.

i became more expertised when i explore and indulge myself in different commercial projects as well.

i used to work in Photoshop and in Adobe Illustrator, even i gained more xperience in packaging, as a result of understanding the requirements of client and company.

well it depends on the job itself , it would be easier if a graphic designer is accessible at all times due to color proofings ,matchings , revisions , most of the designers would want to do their jobs at home , in my case my answer would be whatever the job demands....

aborad as compare to india other country gives more salary

It realy doesn't matter that where you are, but how you are perfroming maters.

For a Graphic Designer Environment is very importatn, and inhouse environment is the most important thing.

Team should be inoviated and motivated, discussing on latest ideas and technology, I hope this will work out.
