Understanding their needs and wants and providing solutions
Good relationship can be made with the customer if you give him best service also be honest with your client about everything so that customer can gain more confidence in you .Also try to be make good relationship in terms of in his personal life like if he has his own festival or birthday do not miss the chance to wish him .This can make good relationship between both of us.
If your customer has repeat business with you then during your interaction with them, you have a really great opportunity to ask them questions about themselves.
Some of the really great questions you can ask them - and which will really go a long way for you - is simply asking the customer what their name is. And, if you can remember their name then next time you are in contact with them that's really great as it shows that you value them as one of your customers.
Complement people, if you can. If you are trying to build a relationship within a retail environment, you can complement them on the shoes thy re wearing, for example. "Oh wow, those are really nice shoes!" or "That's a really nice watch!" Another option in a retail environment is that if they are shopping and they have children with them, acknowledge them as well. Kids are great, and if you can keep them engaged while a customer is shopping or even give them a smile, it'll make that customer interaction more meaningful.
Good relationship building basically comes down to talking with and listening to your customer. Ask them small questions about themselves, and you may find you have something in common with them. Own your interaction with them, and let them know that if they need anything, they can ask you for help.
Good luck!
