I should feel proud and increase my self confidence it will be a chance for me to prove my skills and abilities will try to gain a lot of information , Will ask who are more experience than me to learn from them and try to be much responsible that will push me to go on

As the target has already been set, i will go after it. But in the same time would politely discuss with my manager the logic behind target setting so as to firstly get confirmed about the correctness of my notions and then prepare myself and plan for the whole term and in the process pass a message to my manager that i am really getting in to things so that he/she will be more cautious while setting up the next sales cycle targets.

I Don't really see the question here but I would say that I will be happy and will have a higher level of motivation to keep that status at all times.
Personally once I have created a great record, I will seek a promotion or seek other opportunities that offer better position or better salary.
One ought to be happy and satisfying for such an opportunity. Faith, trust and similar terms are emotional motivating factors which are worth appreciating.
At the same time take a realistic and scientific approach with the manager by getting into the details as to how it can be achieved and whether it is feasible. Mutually agree if mutually convinced and run for it.
After achieving the target i will ask for a written evaluation.... Thank You.
It definitely means that the manager has good faith on you and it also means that you had performed better in past. So it does not matter whatever the target is more than your colleagues. So suggestion is that just try your level best to achieve target and prove again you are really the best performer.
