Should recruitment experts regard distance learning degrees from accredited programs as being the same as degrees earned from a face-to-face programs?

Dear Donn,  Distance Learning is the Future of Education.
There is a lot of discussion in higher education about rising costs and a hope that technology could be used to make education more efficient and effective.
Distance learning and digital education is the latest fashion in education.
After many following of recruitment agencies, I can say that recruitment experts regard distance learning degrees from accredited programs as being the same as degrees earned from a face-to-face programs.

There is no difference betwen the distance or face to face programs.
it is all the same.
all will open doors to the student in order to enhance the skills & the further reading.
but the distance learning will allow the employee to use the time to expand his experience rather & implement whatever is studying in his/her current job.
 

Hello Donn, I guess I'm an affiliate of the old-school techniques of teaching and learning, regardles of the cost issue.
Never far distance degrees or e-learing are compatable to face-to-face learing.
Yet, this satatement is be a debatable if the final exams fairly measure the skills are supposed to be aquired after the course.
Soft skills distance learning could be a good evedant to my theory.
I think effective learning entails role plays , discussions , open-discussions and case-studies when it comes to soft skills.
On the other hand , I may take the word "accredited" seriously when it's related to scientific programms that exibit exams that could be desribed as sensitave measures to knowledge/skills.
