Putty is best and SecureCRT is good for network engineers, managing hundreds of network elements.

Putty is best on my past experience 

SCRT, very fast and easy to use,you can name your connection and let you login just at finger tip

it depends on number of device you managed...if it few ( ex 10) , Putty is best ( **Free)

if more 100-500 devices, i would recommend to use SecureCRT.
