     As you mention "Being a good PHP developer " follow some steps

1- learn OOPS concept

2- learn all lesson on PHP from w3schools.com

3- download any project on PHP from github.com and try to learn concept from this

4- subscribe PHP tutorial site to up to date and ask question in stackoverflow for your query

Remember ! You can learn better while you develop any project . Its better you learn with creating your own blog site.

All answers are correct but you should know the basics of C or C++ language and then you need read tutorials from W3Schools or PHP.NET website.

You should learn first the PHP basics, then you should learn OOP concepts and would be better if you learn latest additions t OOP in PHP. After that I would recommend starting to explore several MVC framework like (Laravel, codeigniter) and more advance MVC frameworks like Zend2.You can learn building APIs along the way to enhance your learning process.

Yes I agreed with both of your answers Mr. Mohammad Azmir Zakaria & Mr. Irfan Khatri but the issue is:When a candidate read all programming sites all php links and books also after all his skills are more strong and he become a good programmer at the time then the company or any private institutes couldn't select that candidate because he has no any experience so they always want certification. That's why being a good programmer is it necessary to have certification? if yes then from where and how we can get certificate? (i think we should do any courses) but the candidate is well acknowledged.

Not specific courses for PHP. just use search engine over the internet, like Google.com. Write: Learn PHP for beginners. Also, use www.w3schools.com as a start point in PHP. and for questions and unsolvable issues, visit www.stackoverflow.com, loads ox experts are there to help you. Cheers :)

There is no specific course that you can take to become good php developer. Go through tutorial in http://www.w3schools.com/php and the rest is depend your skill to understand the concept of programming and php itself

Basically if we want a Good software developer in php we must need expert in HTML.CSS and SQL programming as well as java script
