Cleaning is a process to remove dirt, including dust, stains, bad smells, and clutter on surfaces.
Some cleaning agents can kill bacteria and clean at the same time.
Sanitation is a process to make something sanitary (free of germs) as by sterilizing

Dear Azhar, Its very simple, "CLEANING" is a process in which we make any surface or thing clean n remove any dust particles or stains, but this cleaning is not Gauranteed it a bacteria free, but "Sanitation" is a cleaning in which Bacteria free environment is Gauranteed.
In Sanitation some sort of dis infactant is also used, while in cleaning we dont use any Dis Infactant.

Cleaning removes dirt from the surface.
Sanitation involves killing bacteria and microbes.
to be sanitized99.9% of microbes must be killed or they have to be reduced to a level they can not reproduce.
or: cleaning generally means getting rid of clutters, getting rid of dust, making things shiny, or making it pleasant to look at, while sanitizing more often use in hospitals, public health places to get rid of germs that might cause health problems.

Dear Mr Azhar, Both answers that have been given by Mrs.
Hela and Mr.
Muhammad are sufficient.
This more detailed answer and related to your Food production field as I have seen.
Cleaning is the process of removing food and other types of soil from a surface, such as a dish, glass, or cutting board.
Cleaning is accomplished using a cleaning agent that removes food, soil, rust stains, minerals, or other deposits.
The right cleaning agent must be selected because not all can be used on food-contact surfaces.
(A food-contact surface is defined as a surface of equipment or utensil with which food normally comes into contact or a surface of equipment or a utensil from which food may drain, drip, or splash into a food or onto a surface normally in contact with food.)  Types of Cleaning Agents: Detergents Solvent cleaners Acid cleaners  Abrasive cleaners  Sanitizing is the process of reducing the number of microorganisms that are on a properly cleaned surface to a safe level.
A safe level is defined as a99.999% reduction of the number of disease microorganisms that are of public health importance.
Sanitizing is accomplished by using heat, radiation, or chemicals.
Unless the item to be sanitized is effectively cleaned, it is impossible to obtain close contact between the sanitizer and the surface to the sanitized.
Also, some chemical sanitizers, such as chlorine and iodine, react with organic matter and so will be less effective when the surface is not properly cleaned.
Sanitizing Methods Heat Radiation Chemicals   Hope my answer is helpful and would be glad to answer any more questions

"CLEANING" purpose is to remove any dust particles or stains but not to remove Micro-organisms such bacteria, fungi or virus.
"Sanitation" purpose is to remove Micro-organisms such bacteria, fungi or virus.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In "CLEANING"we use physical cleaning with classical toolsand chemical cleaning with what called "detergent".
In "Sanitation"we use physical Sanitation such as UV radiation and Heat and chemical Sanitation with what called "disinfactant" such as ozone and chlorine
