The best thing for a new freshner after school is own business if you have funds or access to fund.
To start a business is very easy and no one can pay you the salary you would want to pay yourself.
You need to develop yourself as an entrepreneur ,study your line of busines and make sure you know the in and out before starting.
You can as well employ those that have the skills infact that is one of the factors that can help you grow.

I would have to disagree with the other replies so far.
I have been a senior executive with a number of MNC's as well as the owner of a couple of start ups.
My very firm advice would be to seek an employed position first with a large organisation that can develop your skills and knowledge base across a range of subject areas (marketing, HR, legal, finance, administration, customer service etc).
Only then can you hope to possess the broad range of skills necessary to effectively manage your own business.
I had an First Class Honours degree when I left university but I wouldn't have been able to run a business to its optimum for at least five years.
One needs real-life experience rather than text book.
If you mean running a small shop as you own business then there is not the same need for this expertise but, I suspect, you are looking to develop a somewhat more substantial business than that.
Don't be in a rush to make your fortune.
There is plenty of time for that.
And remember, the majority of start-up businesses fail.
