Quick books is a very useful software ,I personally have been using it for my practice and I am very satisfied with it .Simply accounting and peachtree are also good softwares.

QuickBooks as far as i know as i am currently using it in my company.
It also has a multi currency option.
Further, it is very user-friendly and easy-to-use accounting system for a small company.

For Start up Business: If you like to use Accounts Friendly Software then => Sage Line 50 If you like to use User Friendly Software then => QuickBooks/Peachtree If you like to use Web Accounting System then => Xero Accounting Accounts Friendly means, the system that follows accounting rules and policies strictly

The most user friendly accounting software for small companies and start ups is Pastel

Sap sales & Sales buzzbo & Excel

Quikbooks  and also use MSexcel

Software depend on the nature of business, such as contracting, manufacturing, finance, sales, etc.

There is local accounting system and international accounting system, in addition to some few free systems online.

oracle is one of the international accounting system, and available in many countries, but expensive.

For personal, and a very small personal business, you can utilize Zoho books.

 

Well according to me i think both Peachtree and Quickbooks are the best software's for small businesses.

Peachtree (Sage 50) is the most suitable accounting software in the small companies.
however this software has not include multicurrency module (USD only) therefore, you have to take the exchange rate in consideration.
