Thank you for your invite. In our company this practice is not followed and I am against it. Your company needs to employ more people if the business / workload has increased, if that is in process then for few days you may not hesitate but to overload employees with regular office work at home is unethical. I would send such a manager to attend a time management course to learn how to plan day to day work and respect employee personal life and household commitments.
It is found employees who do not get enough rest and those who are not able to give desired time at home start remaining irritated and their quality of work goes down. Therefore it is not in company interest to overload employees. I would not consider such a manager as competent and he is unprofessional who may cause brain drain from your company. So my advise is to look for a change or have little patience such managers cannot survive for a long time.
If i cant leave during work hours without permission. than is it possible to do office work at home Daily?! i totally agree with expert Pardeep Mehra. the manager needs some correctness.
Yes, obviously, in the office hours, some time work has been balanced, such time, we bring files to my house and then take small rest and then, all files are cleared/completed. Then, I went to sleep. The same way, I may completed such works.
