Firstly, there must have an agreement among the supplier & importer. They must have an intermediate bank for both of them. After all this finished the LC started. Then first the importer deposit the amount of money to bank, then the supplier send the goods. After it sends, the importer take the documents from its intermediate bank & then receive the goods depending on the documents.
