What will be your response if an interviewer ask; may we know you?

In an interview, an interviewer always ask May we know you? then i do start with my place of birth, Education and work experience is that the right way to answer such question?

i think that the best answer is to introduce my work experience and what is my role & resposbilities and a brief summary for my skills specially related with the job i am making interview for and then introducing my self with my education birth etc.. & i think what matters him more is not my personal information but my capabilities & skills & self confidence & qualifications & does it match this job opportunity or not

My response would be to introduce myself including my years of experience and how relevant is my experience and education the available job. Also in my introduction i'd inform about the strengths and areas of achievement
