Usually, short stories have just one plot, but if required they may have sub-plots that finally add up to the dominant plot. Three unities - of time, place and action - are followed, in general, here, though modern and postmodern writers differ with the Aristotelian principle and they tend to weave sub-plots.
The short story is very simple so I think it should have just one plot for the reader to have fun during reading.
