c. long term benefits;
d. current benefits, if the cost is not deducted from the salary;
i feel out of four options i would go with wages and salaries because these are basic and if the employee get these on time then environment and work both employer gets on time.
Long term employee benefits are benefits which is due after12 months hence ans should be c.
Vary from individual to individual and differ with organizations.
c. A bonus payable more than12 months after the end of the period in which the related employee services are performed
Benefits is always define in two ways by Organization and workers. But have we ask ourselved how our workers define benefits? Salaries and Wages is the foremost issue why workers stay with their job followed by other renumeration they can get from the company. Generally, it is not considered benefits in organization parlance, but to workers does because the immediate impact and benefits it brought matters. That makes it Employee benefits.
Respected Sir
The HR dept generally has a balanced score card approach while dealing in long term benefit plans for the employees, stake holders and customers. The main aim of any long term benefit plan is to retain the employee in the long term. I think a bonus payable more than12 months after the end of the period in which the related employee services are performed is a good example. A company car provided is also a good retention measure if it is not provided in the employees profile by the competing companies. But then if the wages and salaries are too low compared with competition then the employee may not wait for12 months and the company’s objective is not served.
