In AWS D1.1 there are standard qWPS's and WPS's, what are the difficulties or restrictions experienced when trying to implement them in your companies situation or regional situation?

I have previous experience in application of AWS D1,1 in many steel structure workshops in Syria.

It is very practicable code especially in defect repair cases.

Regarding to welding procedure specification requirement, I think its not different from other standard like ASME9.

The code is very practical  and fairly easy to understand and implement, but the WPS's and pWPS's are sometimes a problem when trying to use the pre-approved procedures. I would like to know the problems experienced using them and how they were solved or corrected.
