What are the important points that should be provided when I make costing for new product?

The important that should be consider or point that should be consider in making costing for a new product is first you should know your customers, as they saying customer is always right, you should know their conditions and methods in launching a new product such as following their standard or procedure, methods, specifications and techniques in making the product. Second you should understand the materials,  manpower and machine to be used in making the product and finally you should able maintain the5'S so in this area you can avoid such as product failure, defects and other related customer claims that can occur during the stage of production.
