Will my Microsoft applications be able to run on Red Hat Linux?

Use the graphical front end tool for wine,PlayonLinux.

Last2006, we setup most workstations like games that runs from Windows to port in CentOS, successfully run with network, updated kernels and X windows dev't, lastly setup Wine.

Better to compile from source (tar balls) rather than the .rpm packages.
