In administration job skills are important or experience?

In my opinion skill is more important than experience because a person's skill will give them experience. In todays world a lot of jobs are given on the basis of influence. In such cases experience wouldnt matter much. If a skilled person is not given a chance to prove themselves then how will they get experience. Big companies settle for experienced staff so that they dont have to train them. If only a skilled person be given a chance, I think it would be a good experience.

it depends on the job level if its data entry or executive level as employer I'll be interested in skills more than experience.

if it's a senior position then experience is very important to be able to lead your team and skills is a must as he will never reach such position without having the necessary skills that allows him to do his job.
