How difficult to an office architect to work in site or building location after 8 years? and if the architect is woman is that more difficult or not?

Although architects and civil engineers work to construct the similar structures, their duties, skills, and approaches to any project differ in various ways. It is important for aspiring students to understand these key differences, so they can best match their strengths and interests to a relevant educational program. Architects and engineers must work together to complete a project. This complementary relationship provides the client with a stable, safe, and aesthetically pleasing product. Each personality brings a different perspective to a project and balance is achieved through this interaction. Both act as project managers and liaisons among the various individuals involved. Ultimately, it is their job to create a structure for their clients and provide the plans to a design team for implementation.

I've been trained as part1 architect from pioneer design school then fully involved with design & management in office works (both landscape & Architecture) for about3 years. Then I challenged my self to be at site, starting as assistant resident landscape architect.

As a woman, for the first6 month, I have  difficulties to communicate with contractors because at that time I am really young  (about years old) and lack of experience. But my strength, I can understands design, drawings and can do immediate sketches to revise the detail drawings. Work really hard to understand the overall site scenario, captured site issues and memorized the requirements as per contract  are the key words, for me  to be respected by site colleagues. 

For8 years involved with construction industry should make us matured enough to handle such a big project from schematic design phase to Contract Implementation & management Phase. 

Actually its is difficult for an office architect to relocate in site because they only focus on technical issue, design, calculation in there office but in the reality in the site there no need calculation, design, the most important the ideas, creativity, technique in order to achived advance status in the ( POW ) program of work.

 working in office is completely not as supervising projects at site because at office you can easily formulate your ideas and organize your works but at sit your job is in reality solving problems 

Hi, It can be difficult at first. But after a while it will get easier. After 8years working in office the architect is fully understand theoretical concepts of design, working in sites He or she would see these concepts coming to practice and I m sure a talented architect would have a lot of new ideas that can be very helpful. in fact, working in office is completely deffrent to supervising projects at site because at office you can easly formulate your ideas and organize your works but at sit your job is in reality solving problems for exempl starting to dig foundation excavationles and you found flooding or heterogeneous land , these problems have to be solved quikly but by experience it will be more easy

So i think it's more difficult for an office worker to work in site but by experience every thing is easy

And i thing women also can work in site with her convincing like man , no deffrence
