I do agree that gender of the co-worker does not matter as long as the person is professional, trust worthy, competent, reliable and honest.

To be fair to both genders , i would like to work with the best person capable of doing the job be it female or male.
In some enviroments it would suit either female or males to work in a certain field however theres no reason why it cant be a fair and even enviroment therefore , the best person for the job would be prefered even if they were female or male.
