To build a career in designing field is M.Tech necessary or Simply CAD is enough?

Designing is not only  using software but also what you learn and what you feel . The more we know tools and be able to use use them to design what you expect is necessary . Simply CAD is not enough cause CAD and its success depends on the operator and the data being input into it. The most important to built career in Designing fields is knowledge. We have so many others software like "REVIT" can give the same result than CAD.
