If Human Resources are capitalized and shown in balance sheets, a very strong merit based criterion will be established to hire and fire people thus avoiding injustice and harassment. What are your comments?

This can be done by professional football clubs, who include players they have purchased under intangible assets.  Revaluations go through the profit and loss account.   However, that is a highly regulated environment - players cannot go and play for another club.   It can't be done in a corporate environment.

If you can't sell it then it's not a balance sheet asset.
