we can bridge the gap between different levels of minds or cultures inside the team by four steps:

the emphasis on corporate culture , teamwork , and participative management makes it important to hire people who not only are skilled but who fit the culture and leadership style of the organization

employee orientation we can communicating the company strategy before start work with my team

we can initiates new employees to the organization to fellow employees to their immediate supervisors and to the policies, practices , vision , and objectives of the firm , and then we should rally my team around that vision

Establish company values

In my experience, I try to learn how much possible with the local/colleagues/team ; absorbing their culture, their points of view, their habits, their opinions, their knowledge and make alot of questions.

Most of the times I delegate tasks and I learn how they will handle with those, not having such a intense participation until some results (or tendency for) appear. But of course, during all that process we discuss common "interests" and add individual opinions to develop those tasks.

It is very important for any leader to work as a team, there will be people from different culture and minds in your team.

For a strategic leader can use various techniques such as;

1) Greeting people and creating a happy environment at work place.

2) Organizing various activities wherein all employees participate and work together. special tasks/special projects.

3) Be with every employee to understand his/her problems related with other staff and try to solve them.

It is very important to have an healthy working environment for achieving organisational objectives and hence strategic leader will be key between employees to help them work as a team or create a family type environment so that everyone's stays together.

This is the common issue faced by many of the companies and to drive the organisation the strategic leader effectively should understand each and every staff minds, behavior and their culture. In most of the companies people will work as a group and group contains different people from different nation. They will not speak the same language and also they will not follow the same cultural practices,

Example1: Staffs are more comfortable to team up or work with their own country people and also they use their own language to communicate. This will make the other person uncomfortable and annoying to work in the team. As a strategic leader, you should make sure they should speak one language while working in the team.

Example2:  Handshake is most common in most of the western countries but this will apply in the gulf countries. Understanding the basic of their culture help the leader to manage and fill the gap between the staffs. Creating a team culture is the most important thing to avoid the gaps between the staff.

I'm not sure what a "strategic" leader is or how it's different from a normal leader, but it does raise the intriguing question of what attributes would be required of a successful "non-strategic" leader.

Cultural differences are be a real challenge and can lead to the most spectacular misunderstandings. (They end either in bitterness and hatred, or, more commonly, roars of laughter.)   The most important thing is to ensure that everybody understands they are working in a multicultural environment, to be understanding and respectful of other people's cultures and to be ready to sort out misunderstandings amicably.

One of the tasks of the leader in this situation is to ensure that the structures, protocols and procedures do not favour certain cultures unreasonably.  Language-specific teams is a tricky one: it obviously makes the task easier, but it can lead to teams becoming isolated from each other and not working together.  In the long run it's usually better to have mixed teams.

Mostly, it's about communication and goodwill.  If everybody wants it to work, and talks to each other, then it'll be fine.  The leader's role is to create that environment.

Bridging the gap never happens between different level minds and culture. Different minds and culture will not be a permanent concerns as they are already aligned their personal goal to company's goal. But a good leader consider this unique situation of the organisation and align in a way the common goal is made known to every level of mind/culture and expect the alignment of everyone to achieve the common goal. The way it is taken forward among this different level is one of the leadership skills that makes different level to understand their purpose of the presence.

Agree with Mr. Duncan and other experts answer. In addition I feel having get together of the teams and team outing will also help in vanishing the gap.

My2 cents. Thanks.
