For major audience no much of a difference since most of the users using a part of Autocad for their needs. May be people might feel the difference who they are using Autocad exploring all its nuances in depth. Being a Quantity surveyor literally no difference.

there is not much difference in any of the Auto CAD versions just some increased user friendliness and some extra commands....your main aim should be learning designing not Versions the basic design features of 2015 is same as 2012 no if you are confident with commands in 2012 then you can be working in 2015 with the same ease. 2012 is very similar to 2015....any thing no change you can feel in your experience!
