How can I prepare myself for an interview for an electrical engineering job? And what kind of questions should I expect to be asked?

first you should concentrate on your personal activities &make sure that technical information is good all interviwer concentrate on personal 

if you are fresh graduated you should know basics of electrical and most of all electrical program (AutoCAD ANDEL OFFICE )

it is not an exam; you don't need to prepare...just apply your engineering knowledge. If you are real electrical engineer you will be able to discuss any electrical question. Electrical concepts are not to be stored in your brain for limited time then you will forget it...it should be stored and kept in your brain and improved by time.....

expect to be asked about your specialist

You should know your field well, make sure to digest throughly the electrical field and study a little bit on the company and the competitors company well

the basic questions will be related to you CV , especially the share activities with the new company

other way, is request you to talk about your experience , I advice to speak slowly and concentrate on points you are expertise with it      

the interviewer looking for your personality and how you will deal with the problem which you will face it in the work , did you have the required skills

please remember the engineering is simplicity and analysis then proper solutions

if questions are out side of your CV , and you did not know the answer, do not try to guess , and just said " I could search or ask

It depends on the type of company that which type of things that company use because electrical is a very big field. lot of questions they can put from u. even they can ask few basic questions like difference in A.C OR D.C. Dn't miss these basic question because if u are fail in giving answers of such questions then u will feel so embarrassing after ur interview..
