Mainly they should have a pedagogical posture/communication launching initiatives aimed to help kids how to use the internet safely, creatively and skilfully.
By the way, in my opinion, this is not only a "mission" of those but also from companies that communicate with that public. The companies should always have a didactical communication in their channels.
For example, KSA Government and several other official entities have laws that protect some www activities, so this sector is being well regulated with wide protection and jurisdiction.
KSA population, according to some statistics, is the largest group of Twitter and Youtube user´s per capita! This is a good sign that online and offline media are having an active and creative content communication through the different channels, captivating their public/readers.
The medias should consent to make efforts to implement a
policy of promotion and creation of programmes of quality for children contain - ing a citizenship dimension, taking into account cultural diversity and receivingsupport from public powers.
