In your opinion, what are some of the main challenges that startup travel and tourism agencies face in the Middle East?

The current political uncertainties and civil wars are the main challenges, but they might be called as major challenges. The minor ones are many and they are varied between managers and employees illiteracy of tourism as a science. Being more financially oriented than customer and employee oriented. Some agencies do not pay sufficient attention to their customers' feedback. Bad marketing is also one of the main issues. There are still more challenges to mention, but more research in these challenges is highly necessary.   

I think there is a good indicator of the development of the tourism industry in the Middle East and all growth rates.

The main challenge for tourism in the Middle East at the moment is how to continue to attract tourists at a time when the Middle East is going through conflicts and political instability in many countries

NOT ONLY ONE CHALLENGE. IN MY VIEWS, THERE ARE SOME MAIN CHALLENGES LIKE 1.UNREST POLITICAL CONDITION 2.LACK OF LOCAL COMMUNITY SUPPORT. 3.GOVERNMENTAL POLICY FOR TOURIST 4. NOT REASONABLE PRICE OF FOODS, CLOTHS, ETC

Due to this experience many times it becomes a great problem for you, because you do not know about your service provider. This is not a small task. On top of the usual stress that comes with searching for work and standing out amongst the masses, you'll also have to go through a visa process to be able to work in another country legally.

In a world full of political struggles only companies with a high money capital can make it through, knowing that the 2 most dominant travel agencies or teleperformance companies are TLS and VFS it makes challenge simply impossible; especially that to make a successful entrance you should have a previous agreement with a specific embassy.

i believe due to the situation in the middle east . fail of marketing to our tourism products. no special prices to let tourists think to visit us. we have to focus on our positive side in our culture.

In the Middle East the most important challenge is creativity... there are many new product in tourism who can upgrade the tourism in the zone , like festival , events , culture ,..
