The Bernouli theroam is application is wide. it is widely used in Flow measurement techniques.

it explain that when there is a restriction line in fluid flow line a DP (differential pressure)is created.

the DP is the maximum at the veena contract point.the flow measured in the flow line is proportional to the square root of the DP measured where K is a constant.

Q=k 6sq root of DP

application is used in flow measurement. such as flow sensing by using pressure difference transmitter

the idea is put constraint in the flow like orifce in the pipe. so the difference between before and after the orifice.

from these pressure the flow can e calculated

Height, Velocity, pressure and density are all considered in Bernoulli's theorem. where the total pressure is summation of static and dynamic pressure. its general observation stated that increase in fluid velocity will lead to decrease of pressure (and opposite is correct) of hydraulic system while passes through venturi model.

  1. Bernoulli's equation: P1+1/2 pV^2+pgh1=P2+1/2 pV2^2+pgh2

Bernoulli’s theorem, in fluid dynamics, relation among the pressure, velocity, and elevation in a moving fluid (liquid or gas), the compressibility and viscosity of which are negligible and the flow of which is steady, or laminar.

Mathematically, for unit mass of fluid flowing through a pipe :            P / rho + g x h + 1/2 x V^2 = constant
