In your opinion, what are the main reasons for project delays?

Bad planning (which is not taking all important aspects into consideration), insufficient collaboration

Lack of full understanding of the project objectives from everyone in the team, which means not everyone is on the same page. This creates weak links in the team and leads to project delays.

It's depend on different things Firstly we should know , on what type of project we are working Normally, time delay occur due to Mismanagement . Communication problem. Lazy employee. Reporting take long period. Focus on all employee.

- Design Errors.

-Scope change.

-Inappropriate and inadequate procurement.

-Complexity of Project.

-Post execution phase.

Scope not being clear and scope creep.

Availing No Objection Certificates / Clearances

the main project delay reasons - Unknown technical problems in the work plan. - Risks in the workplace and the natural hazard and individual accidents - The sociological problems of workers in their families, that these problem it have any effect on the performance of each worker.

1-lack of commitment to time schedule 

2- delay in supply the needed materials 

3-short in number of workers

In my opinion the following is the main reasons: lack of proper cash flow planning Ignoring the Risk management plans Trying to reduce the cost by assigning insufficient resources

• According to me, the main reason for project delay is first of all the lake of worker efford because if the worker will not give their full efford no project will complete on time.
• second think the proper maintenance of equipments if the equipments is in good condition then we can finish the any project on time 
• At last we want to say that if the MAN POWER AND EQUIPMENT POWER is good then we can finish project on time.

As per my knowledge I would say 1) lack of team work 2) unavailability of certain part dimentions 3) unavailability of small part design 4) misunderstanding between the workers 5) electrical breakdown 6) failure in machine parts 7) lack of workers 8) issues related to the payments 9) transportation delay of some equipment 10) delay in civil work will delay the whole project 11) accident on project site 12) rework , improper work 13) lack of knowledge to the workers 14) lack of knowledge to the fabricator

Immature planning, risk assessment, understanding of challenges and deficient resources allocation.
