social media tips or reading up on how someone got the followers they did:
There are many strategies do you have for growing your followers:
First strategy: Informers vs. Meformers The key to getting2x more followers
· Meformers — Users who post social media updates mostly relating to themselves.
· Informers — Users who post updates that are mostly information-sharing.
It would seem that sharing information on social media is better for your follower count than sharing about yourself.
Aim to boost your information sharing on social media so that you more closely align with the informer cluster rather than the meformer cluster.
1. Be an authority:+ more followers for gurus, authors, and experts.2. Create amazing things and be a leader in your industry. Then don’t forget to mention it in your bio. Terms like author, expert, founder, and official can be powerful assets to growing your followers.3. To get a lot of followers, minimize the number of those who unfollow you.
4. Give the people what they want: most of followers want special offers. Among the top reasons, one of the biggest themes was discounts. Reasons for following included special offers or promotions, freebies, and exclusive content. Interesting, the fact that a brand posts entertaining and useful content the seventh-most popular reason for following a brand. This would seem to indicate that there’s more to being followed than good content marketing.
5. Give things away. Twitter users love discounts and freebies, and they are likely to follow a brand to get some goods. If you can add value in this way—along with your content strategy and branding—you might see your followers grow.
6. The more you post, the more followers you’ll have.
7. Post to social media often, as part of a consistent, dependable strategy.
8. Share positively: Happy updates correlate to more followers
Hopefully one (or more personal marketing strategies ) will be key to getting your follower count growing!
you can grow your followers on social media by participating in all their activities.. I mean like this one... you've got to share your thoughts and ideas about something that they are up to..
I think all has been already said, I would add only that rather than posting every day - come up with more creative content and post it every 2-3 days. Engage people by thinking what would you expect being on their place. Do not promote the product directly but try to bring the information and knowledge to your potential followers. Participate in groups and discussions with kind and prompt advices.

Here are the Big 10:
I do agree with Ms.Ghada answer
Always utilize social media marketing best practices; meaning that you must always understand that each and every social media platform has its own special guidelines that will help you to achieve the goal of gaining more followers and, in turn, gain customers from those followers.
Twitter allows 140 characters; however, best practice for Twitter says to use 90 characters, then use the remaining allowance to input an image and a bit.ly link leading to either a landing page on your site or the link to the product/service that you are offering. This will guide an interested individual directly to your site and you then have the responsibility of making sure that the potential customer is turned into an actual customer.
Facebook is a an amazing marketing tool...if done correctly. You must understand the importance of quality content when it comes to Facebook. Knowing how to place posts, when, where, and to whom is all crucial to the marketing done on this social media platform.
Now, LinkedIn is an amazing tool for businesses wanting to cater to the professionals and businesses. This is when B2B marketing should be practiced at its highest standard. LinkedIn allows you to place doors for people to walk through. More likely than not, you will get to the target market you were intending to get to and you'll do it through making proper and relevant connections, joining groups, following companies, etc. Create effective content by posting articles, blogs, etc. that are relevant to your target market.
Pinterest and Instagram are - believe it or not - excellent methods for marketing products online to a vast range of markets. Both are amazing methods of reaching the global market. If you don't fully understand the value of the global market to your business, I highly recommend delving deep into some SHRM websites and discovering just how vital the global market is to your business. Instagram allows you to share a post on Twitter, as well. This is when sticking to the character limit is VERY important. If you choose to create different content for Twitter, using hashtags on Instagram will help you gain more views, more likes, and more responses from viewers.
What I always recommend is for social and digital media marketing executives to create a style guide for each platform of inbound marketing. Whether you are marketing via email or via any social media platform, a customized style guide allows you to save time, have consistent stylized content, and keeps customers viewing your site because you have now built credibility with them and they are seeing you as an expert in the industry/field.
Something else to keep in mind is the frequency of posts. Blog posts, for example, can be done once a week or once a month. Either way, make sure the posts are what your customers/clients are looking for. Another thing to keep in mind is to always - and I emphasize ALWAYS - create a profile for your clients and customers. Know who they are, what they do, what they're looking for, and why. Doing this helps you to target their needs and create that customized experience they desire.
I agree with Ms.Ghada answer, I might add that always keeping interesting content will make more followers always.
