Financial Work Sheet (FWS): FWS are the work sheet which are prepared indepdently/ individualy is called financial tools of the organisation, to control item wise/ cost center wise to keep tracks or records. e.g. Budget, MIS, variance analysis, daily cash report/ Collection report, Sales report, stock report etc.
Financial Statement (FS): All Financial Statement is supported by Financial work sheet. Thus, the FS can not be prepared without the FWS.
Financial Statement : The FS is a periodic repor of financial result of an organisation which contains (i) Balance Sheet (ii) Income Statement (iii) Cash flow. These statement are explained about the economic position, Liquidity & future existence & growth. As well it help to take corrective step to meet SWOT in commutative era.

Work sheet was a controlling / assessing tool used by accountants prior to final preparation of financial statements. Nowadays, the use of worksheets is left after the introduction of advanced technologies such as MS EXCEL.
Typically, a worksheet contains 5 columns where each column has a DEBIT and a CREDIT side.
column-1 lists all INCOME STATEMENT and BALANCE SHEET accounts' figures prior to adjustments (before adjustment trial balance figures)
