No, because even if you are an IT guy and you are not patient and easily loose focus then automation/programming is not a thing that can easily be done.

Yes, IT related person can handle automation programming, they can handle and fix any kind of bugs because they are facing different issues technical, administrative and managerial and find a solution to fix those issues.
